AFScott on Technology Panel

AFScott president and CEO Andrew Scott and marketing director Eliza Sutte took part in a panel discussion about the impact of technology on families that took place at Far Hills Country Day School last week. Head of School Tom Woelper led the discussion with parents and educators that featured The Big Disconnect: Protecting Childhood and Family Relationships in the Digital Age by clinical psychologist and family therapist Dr. Catherine Steiner-Adair. The book, which examines ways in which technology and media change how children learn and grow and shows parents how to balance the benefits of tech while reducing the risks it poses at every stage of development, was a natural selection for the first head-of-school book club talk this year.
